Quentin Warshauer's passion for three-dimensional “assemblage” focuses on gender and racial issues, particularly sensitive issues in the South. She “...love(s) to find the secret life of 'neglected things' to set them free.” These narrative pieces are an intuitive exploration. Quentin pursued her formal training in painting at the New York Academy of Art and graduated with her MFA in 1995. She relocated to Wilmington, NC, where she currently lives and works with her husband and three children. Her work is held in a number of personal collections.
